Buses leave from our Smith Ranch Road, Terra Linda stop every hour at 5 minutes after the hour starting at 4:05 AM until 10:05 PM. For example, 4:05 AM, 5:05 AM, and so forth, until the last bus at 10:05 PM.
Plus, starting June 24th, 2024, additional buses will leave Smith Ranch Road at 8:35 AM, 1:35 PM, 3:35 PM, and 7:35 PM.
The trip to SFO takes a minimum of 1 hour and 20 minutes, but may take longer depending on traffic conditions. Please allow plenty of time to travel. Traffic delays are common and should be expected. Complete schedule available here.
Tickets may be purchased from your driver for cash or online through the link below. Tickets purchased online may be printed and given to the driver, or you can display the ticket barcode on your phone. The fare for all stops is $28.00 (plus a $1.00 service charge when paying electronically). Children under 12 still ride free. Please be sure to complete online ticket purchases before boarding the bus so as not to delay the boarding process.
The Smith Ranch Road stop is located near the Smith Ranch Park & Ride Lot located at 25 Smith Ranch Road, San Rafael, on the east side of Highway 101. The Marin Airporter stop is on the north side of the Park & Ride Lot on Smith Ranch Road. Take the Smith Ranch Road exit from Highway 101. The bus stop is on the east side of the freeway just off the exit.
The parking lot at our Smith Ranch Rd. pickup location is a CalTrans commuter parking lot, and is not intended for long term parking. The posted limit is 72 hours. Marin Airporter is not responsible for cars parked in this lot. If you need long term parking beyond the 72 hour limit, that is available at our Andersen Drive — San Rafael and Hamilton — Novato pickup locations.
